Popomomo

Popomomo who stands for post-postmodern movement, is a LA-based label.
I like those dresses from the last collection. The simple shapes with the details at the back and the range of colours are lovely.
I like the fact that it is easy to wear in many different occasions.

An other important point, it is ecofriendly! They do everything to decrease their environmental impact.

Let's Colour Project

I LOVE this video from the project Let's Colour launched by French paint company Dulux Valentine.
The project is to paint public places, and spread the colours in the cities.
I also like the fact that they work with local communities to paint streets, houses, buildings, squares etc.

Monsieur Valentin

I love the Paperclay lamp from Monsieur Valentin, an artist from Germany.
He mixed the common Chinese paper lamp with an uncommon material.
The lampshade is entirely made of porcelain. It is a combination of two shapes that create the outer structure of paper and the solid inner shade.

Lucie & Simon Exhibition

If you are in Paris you must pass by the Galerie Baudoin Lebon to see the latest exhibition of the very talented photographers Lucie & Simon, the HSBC for Photography prize-winners for 2010.
I was at the preview Wednesday, and it was a real success! You could see their series "Scenes of life" and also some of "Silent World".

It was also a way to celebrate the issue of their first book "Vertige du quotidien", with introductions by Klaus Honnef and Bernard Marcellis, from Editions Actes Sud.
The book was sold out before I could get one! It will be in several shops like Fnac, in September if you are interested.

Joon & Jung

I love the work of the designers Joon & Jung.
Since 2008 they launched their conceptual product design studio based in Eindhoven, the Netherlands.
They are both from South Korea and they met in the Design Academy Eindhoven.

I am particularly a big fan of their work on clouds.
Here you can see the CloudStool and the paper sculpture CloudMon.

6 months!

One Day One Plan is changing (just a little!)

Since more than 6 months now, I have been running this blog every single day!!
I did it for me and for you! I really enjoy it and I hope you like it too!

My fashion studies take me lots of time, and running a blog every day at the same time is quite a hard job to be honest!
So starting from today, I will post articles quite often but not every day.

Amazing work from Laura Mc Cafferty, an artist from England.
Her work is a blend of traditional craft and contemporary, documentary-style illustration.
I really like it.
What a great way to mix illustration with textile and embroidery.
There is lots of nice colors and prints and it is full of humour!!

Sessùn

I really like the french label Sessùn, I think they are really getting better and better.
I also love their website, simple and fresh, with a very good music playlist and lovely pictures.
Sessùn was started in 1995 by the french designer Emma Francois. She started by selling products to friends and friends of friends and it soon became a real label sold in many places!

Michel Vivien

This morning at my school Le Studio Berçot, we had the chance to have the visit of Michel Vivien, the famous french shoe maker.
He runs is own label but also work for other brand like Lanvin for example.

He came to take a look at the shoe collection for summer of the students.
It was really interesting to have the point of view of such a talented professional person. He makes luxurious shoes so he knows what he talks about!
He had a very positive approach and also very sincere, so his critics were very constructive.

My favorite model of the spring/summer 2010:
