Doily Pendant Lamp

This gorgeous lamp was made by the designer Shannon South from reMade USA.
She makes those lamps all by hand, stitching vintage doilies together, one at a time.
The shadows created are just amazing. I love it.

It is available in ecru/white, white and black.
You can find it here.

Here is the beautiful video of Vanessa Bruno for spring-summer 2011.

Faites le mur! A Banksy film.

You must see Exit through the gift shop! (Faites le mur! in french), the movie about street artists made by the famous anonymous British street artist Banksy!
It is brilliant, exciting, provocative and very funny.

You discover the hidden life of the street artists, like Banksy himself, Shepard Fairey, Space Invaders, how they work etc.
But the movie is more than a documentary, it is more about the inside story of Thierry, this crazy guy that spend all his time filming those street artists while they work with his little video camera and then he suddenly becomes also a street artist under the name of Mr Brainwash and mess up the market of street art...
